Before Your Appointment: Photo & Color Requirements
To make sure I schedule the right amount of time and give you the most accurate results, I need a few clear photos before confirming your appointment. This prevents miscommunication and ensures your service is booked correctly.
1. Required Photos
Please text these before your appointment can be confirmed.
Front View
A clear, well-lit photo of the front of your hair.
Back View
A clear, well-lit photo of the back of your hair.
Haircut Inspiration (If You Want a Haircut)
If you want a haircut or want to change your current shape, please send:
• 1–2 inspiration photos
• A short note about what you like (length, movement, softness, face-framing, overall feel)
Please choose photos that reflect fine to medium-density hair so expectations stay accurate.
Ponytail Density Photo (most important)
• Gather your hair into a low ponytail
• Hold it naturally – no squeezing, no compressing
• Take the photo from arm’s length
• Make sure the ponytail is fully visible
This allows me to accurately see density so I can schedule the correct amount of time.
2. Color Information (If You Want Color)
Root Touch-Up
If you only want basic root coverage (gray coverage), just say so. No inspiration photo needed.
Going Darker
No inspiration photo needed unless you have a very specific tone in mind.
Anything Lighter (Highlights, Dimension, Brightening, Lifting Your Base)
If you want anything lighter than your current color — including highlights, dimension, brightening, or a base lift — please send:
• An inspiration photo
• Whether your hair has ever been colored before
• Whether you’ve ever used henna, even once
Note: Balayage is not available.
This information is essential because lifting color requires precision.
3. Why These Photos Matter
These photos let me see:
• Actual density
• Texture
• Length
• What’s realistically achievable
• How much time your appointment requires
This ensures your appointment can be accepted, scheduled correctly, and done safely.
4. What Happens After You Send Photos
Once I receive the photos and details, I’ll confirm:
• Whether the service is do-able
• What results are realistic
• Whether we need one or multiple sessions
If everything is a good fit, I’ll confirm the appointment.
5. Important Notes
I work exclusively with fine to medium-density hair.
If your hair appears significantly denser, I may need to adjust the appointment or let you know if it’s not a safe fit for my shoulder and booking structure.
If you have any questions, you can text me directly — but the photos above must be submitted first.
